2012 Gilroy Garlic Festival Coverage on CMAP TV

CMAP TV is airing freshly captured content from the 2012 Gilroy Garlic Festival beginning on Friday evening at 5pm streaming online at www.cmap.tv and via local cable television, Charter Channel 20.

CMAP's volunteer crews will cover all three days of this year's festival, live from the Garlic Cook-Off Stage. Field crews will shoot, edit and upload special news segments from the Festival, posted daily, here on Gilroy Patch and at cmap.tv.

All of CMAP's up-to-date Garlic Festival coverage can be viewed online, at www.cmap.tv, and is cablecast on local Charter cable channel 20. 

This year's coverage begins with Friday's "So, You Think You Can Cook With Garlic" Contest, local chef Jonathan Toste, and the Master Chef Challenge. 

Saturday's coverage will include the "Great Garlic Cook-Off Contest," featuring unique ways competing chefs have explored the use of garlic with celebrity judges, along with guest celebrity chefs, including the entertaining, Luca Rutigliano – Exec. Chef, CordeValle Resort, and private chef Jay Minzer of New York, and Eric Wright, former San Francisco 49er.

On Sunday, CMAP's coverage includes the Garlic Showdown on the Cook-Off Stage, and the lighthearted, knowledgable team of local celebrity chefs, "The SakaBozzo Show," with Gene Sakahara and Sam Bozzo.
