CMAP Video Editing Classes

Our editing classes can be scheduled directly with James Duisenberg during our open lab times. Please bring a mini-DV tape or data card with your content to be edited.
You may also want to provide your own USB 2.0 or firewire hard drive on which to store your media. CMAP has some limited hard drive access available for member projects.

Macintosh Editing with Final Cut Pro

Learn the basics of editing on the Mac platform, including digital asset management, capturing media, working with the viewer and sequence windows, mark in/out and create subclips, JKL positioning and 3 point editing, grouping and ungrouping, turn on/off snapping, positioning markers, envelope adjustments for video and audio, effects and transitions
