'Be the Media' Digital Bootcamp for Girls - Gilroy
June 26-29, 2013
Do you like to act, direct or operate a video camera? CMAP is offering a week-long, all-girls camp for 13-18 year olds to learn all aspects of media production including video production, editing, storytelling and interviewing techniques. The participants will complete a short video, as well as view Miss Representation, a film by Jennifer Newsom and learn about women in the media. $135 (scholarships available)

Summer Digital Media Camp - Hollister
July 9th-13th, 2013 (1-4pm)
Interested in learning how to make your own YouTube or music video? This summer, the YMCA of San Benito and the Community Media Access Partnership (CMAP) are teaming up to offer a week-long camp in video production, editing and new media skills. The participants will learn scriptwriting, storytelling, video production, editing and will complete a short video. Contact the YMCA to register. $135 (scholarships available)
